      We say we waste time, but that is impossible. We waste ourselves.

 

          During my first semester, I've studied English 1 and the assignment that we have to do is 'Critical Movie Review". Doing the first semester assignment also we have go through so much hard time. Moving to second semester, things are going so fast and much harder than I think. In this second semester, I've taken six subjects and one of them is English 2. For English 2, our lecturer, Ms. Teh want us to do a group assignment and it required us to do a proposal and a CD. The CD will be filled with a filmed that our group have produced, that is about a successful entrepreneur.

 

          When we talk about success, there are lots of meaning that we can find. As for my group, we find that a successful entrepreneur must be pack with work and doesn't have many times to do an interview. Before the due date came, we have done several discussion to decide who is the successful entrepreneur that we want to persue. My group have decided to choose Guccio Gucci, the founder of The House of Gucci and also an Italian businessman and a fashion designer. The reason for why our group have decided to choose him as our successful entrepreneur is because the way that he can managed to build a small unknown company to a big company that we can see now. This is a great achievement that we can see until now and for himself. So we have decided to divide the works into four.

 

          Many research have be been done to complete the video and the proposal. We've decided to take a video on what topic we have choose and then combine it into one video. I am doing the editing for the video and what I can say about that, it's hard. Although I am editing the video, there is also my part in the video. After the video finished in the editing part, I showed the video to my group member and Thank God they love it. 

 

          For the proposal, we are doing it after we have done the video. We are doing it one day before the due date came. So it is a last minute job. If I'm not mistaken, we completed the proposal at 4 a.m. in the morning. So after we have completed the proposal, we are required to put the assignment into turnitin that is in TImeS. For the first attempt, our group got 41% for the turnitin. But the requirements is must not exceed 20%. So our group decided to edit the proposal and the final percentage is 19%. We happy with that.

 

          At the end, we think last mintue work is not really good but we all happy with it. It have been a challenging semester for me but for me as we move from one semester to another, there will be more upcoming challenges that we have to faced as a student.
